A recent article posted on Wales Online explores the wide range of places to eat in Pontypridd. "From fine dining to tea time treats to some proper good brunch, there's plenty to enjoy if you're looking to stop for a bite in the town.
Three of our very own eateries in The Market Quarter are featured. Here is what Author had to said about our 'Hidden Gems'
Janets Authentic Northern Chinese
"One of the great things to have come out of the market's recent re-vamp is some proper lush places to eat. Janet's little eatery is all about serving up authentic, homemade Chinese dishes and since it opened it's had rave reviews from the punters. If you fancy sampling something a little different, pop by and give it a try."
"Another wonder to come out of the market. The chefs regularly cook up some delicious Thai food, and add a touch of difference to the market. It may not be the first place you think of to head for some grub, but the market is definitely worth a visit if you want to pick up a tasty lunch with a bit of a twist."
"If you just need a little pick me up, and possibly the best coffee in town, this is where you need to head. You won't get a slap-up meal but you will get some lovely little sarnies and cakes and, of course, some excellent coffee. A perfect place to stop for a cuppa and a snack. A local business that's really worth supporting."
